About Irena

(360) 389-2091

My name is Irena Lambrou, and I've been serving the greater Whatcom County & Skagit County Real Estate markets since 2016. I've had the pleasure of helping many clients achieve their real estate goals, and I have dedicated my life to ensuring the growth of our communities is done in a way that affects us positively. I am proud to be part of John L. Scott Bellingham, as our main commitment is giving back to our local community!

Since moving to Bellingham in 2010, I jumped headfirst into engaging with this wonderful and caring community: from working on community farms to serving on our neighborhood association committees and participating in volunteer and outreach programs. I decided to get into Real Estate when I realized the doors it could open to friends and family, and how it could also help me give back to our community members locally in a way that I could never have dreamed! As a certified Washington State Housing Finance Commission (WSHFC) First Time Home Buyer facilitator, I have had the opportunity to offer education as a tool for anyone interested in real estate. The old adage that knowledge is power only holds true: My mission is to empower clients through education, whether you are buying your first home, your next investment property or even vacant land.

In addition to education, sustainability is also a big part of my mission. I deeply care for the Earth and am always looking for more ways to support sustainability efforts through my business! Here are just a few ways I bring sustainability into my business model:

  • As a realtor, I plant 10 trees for every home sold through the Whatcom Land Trust. My goal this year is to plant 100 trees--I would love to hit my goal. When you think of real estate, I hope you think of me this year!
  • Additionally, I provide a 1-year subscription Ridwell to new homeowners as part of their closing gift. Ridwell is a great way to keep more stuff out of our landfill and return it to the circular economy.
  • Lastly, I'm always willing to talk with homeowners about how to lower their bills and lower their impact on the environment. Who knew that you could do both!? Feel free to message me or email me for information (irenalambrou@johnlscott.com).

When I'm off the clock, you can find me exploring this incredible place we get to call home on two feet or two wheels with my husband, my daughter, and my Blue Tick Coonhound, Lucy!

Thank you for taking the time to read this quick bio, I look forward to meeting you!
